Isle of Wight Festival 2007
Once home to Europe's Woodstock equivalent, the Isle of Wight boasts an impressive festival history with musical heavy weights such as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors once taking to the stage before the festival was banned in 1970. 2002 saw the Isle of Wight re-established as a festival site and it didn't take long to crank up the party vibe again. This year those of you hopping on a ferry are in for a treat with more talent jam-packed on the tiny island than you can shake a stick at - the stomping line up includes The Kaiser Chiefs, Newton Faulkner, The Kooks, iconic punk rock from The Sex Pistols and The Police will be stopping by as a final stop on their reunion tour.
