The Big Chill
The only festival to make chilling out its priority, The Big Chill is for those who want to soak up the atmosphere of the gorgeous Heredfordshire countryside and enjoy some low-key acts. In its 14th year, The Big Chill has broken new boundaries to bring a festival programme brimming with diversity, creativity – and some of the most incredible experiences from any art form. It's said to rival Glastonbury in its early days and continues to attract more and more music enthusiasts every year who want to escape the mainstream crowds. Indulge in some pampering chill-out time in the Body and Soul area, listen to some of the inest poets, authors and purveyors of the spoken in the expanded Words in Motion area and have a giggle with with Underbelly parading the best of Edinburgh’s comic talent.

You'll love it if...
You want to go to a festival still in its prime that hasn't been taken over by a big-wig corporation. You'll see plenty of top acts with none of the overkill hype that the other festivals have. The Big Chill has a fantastic vibe and everyone seems to be smiling in the sun that has shone on the festival since its beginnings
